Rooted in Karachi
EatsKarachi didn’t start in an office; it started in the narrow alleys of Burns Road and the bustling boulevards of DHA. As lifelong residents of the “City of Lights,” our team realized that while Karachi is a global culinary capital — home to some of the world’s finest biryani, karahi, and street food — finding accurate, up-to-date dining information was surprisingly difficult. Menus change. Restaurants close. Prices go up. None of that was being tracked in real time.
We built EatsKarachi in 2024 to solve exactly that: a data-driven, locally authored guide that celebrates the extraordinary diversity of Karachi’s food scene, from the ₨300 haleem of a roadside dhaba to the 5-course tasting menus of Clifton’s finest.
Today, EatsKarachi covers 302+ restaurants across 13 neighborhoods, verified, updated, and written by people who eat here every day.

EatsKarachi is run by a small, passionate team of Karachi-based food writers, researchers, and restaurant industry veterans. We are not a faceless aggregator — every listing on EatsKarachi has been personally reviewed or directly verified with the restaurant.

Our 5-Step Verification Process
Shortlisting
We identify restaurants through community nominations, Google Maps ratings (4.0+), and field scout reports from across all 13 neighborhoods.
Physical Verification
Addresses are cross-referenced via GPS. Restaurants listed as open are confirmed active within the past 90 days.
Menu Digitization
Physical menus are photographed and digitized. Prices in ₨ are tracked and updated when changes are reported.
Editorial Review
Our food writers craft original descriptions based on firsthand visits or direct interviews. No copy-pasting from other directories.
Ongoing Community Updates
Readers report changes via our contact form and WhatsApp. Database is updated within 48 hours of a verified closure or major menu change.
